Researchers who study discourse often make use of the term ‘joint action’ to describe the collaborative processes that underlie communication. This refers to the collaborative nature of communication and especially discourse. When joint actions fail, communication fails.

New Ruling in Reglan Lawsuits

Reglan, a prescription drug for the treatment of gastrophageal reflux, has been linked to some pretty averse side effects. Some of the known side effects include Tardivie Dyskinesia, Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome, delirium, fever and unstable blood pressure.

Man Electrocuted While Potentially Stealing Copper Cable For Scrap

Blaine Minnesota resident Thomas Stanke was electrocuted to death while sawing through a subterranean copper cable under a St. Paul street last week.  The investigation of this electrocution accident is ongoing, but records indicate that Stanke, an employee of TDI Cable, had no work to do in the area at the time of the accident.

Indian Man Dies In Freak Natural Gas Accident

An elderly man in the city of Chennai India recently died after suffering severe burn injuries sustained from the fiery explosion caused by a natural gas accident in his home.  The Times of India reported that 71-year-old Siva Prakasham passed away Saturday morning from the injuries he received in the incident a few days before.
