Spring is here and along with milder weather comes swimming pool parties and increased activity around the pool and spa. Now is the time to make sure your pool is safe for the ones who use it most, the kids.
The best thing you can do for your pool during this swimming off-season is to make sure that the swimming pool is safe to continue to enjoy. It is easy to let minor and seemingly insignificant repairs go unnoticed or unattended to while the pool is at the height of use during the summer. While this behavior is a gamble at best, it is in the interest of safety to vigilantly inspect and immediately repair any malfunction. Because, even the smallest “insignificant” issue under the right circumstances can be a swimming pool accident and mean disaster.
Personal injury law is rewarding when we help our clients get compensation they deserve. We understand probably better than most that accidents happen and when they do, people often get injured. Unfortunately, sometimes the story ends extremely upsetting with a death.
“More than one in four fatal drowning victims are children 14 and younger,” claims cdc.gov. Additionally their statistics show that “for every child who dies from drowning, another four received emergency department care for nonfatal submersion injuries.”
