Effient
We are investigating side effect patients who have used Effient and, as a result, have been diagnosed with new and additional cancers, or whose solid tumors have become worse after using the Effient name brand blood thinner. There is more and more news concerning the harmful effects of Effient as a blood thinner wherein it may increase the risk of certain cancers.
The study in the June 2010 Archives of Internal Medicine has stated that Effient use may promote tumor growth compared with Plavix, another blood thinner.
If this is so, Eli Lily, the manufacturer of Effient, has completely failed to inform the public and its patients of the significant risks of cancer from the use of Effient.
