Maclaren Stroller Recall

Defective Strollers, Severe Finger Injuries including Finger Amputation Injuries

The lawyers at Nadrich & Cohen, LLP, are viewing claims of children who have been injured by the Maclaren strollers. Particularly, these defective strollers have created severe finger injuries to small children including finger amputation injuries.

On November 9, 2009, Maclaren recalled 1,000,000 strollers due to reports of children’s fingers being cut off. The strollers posed dangers to kids’ fingers. Consumers who have purchased a Maclaren stroller since 1999 can apply for a free kit that covers the side hinges. As of November 2009, at least twelve children have had their fingertips amputated after getting them stuck in the elbow joint mechanism of the strollers.

This is a voluntary recall. If your child has unfortunately lost a finger due to the Maclaren stroller, please contact Jennifer Poole at 800-718-4658 or complete the email evaluation on the right. We are investigating Maclaren stroller injury claims throughout the country—from coast to coast.
