The Law Offices of Nadrich and Cohen is representing Trayslol victims nationwide. Trayslol (“Aprotinin”) is a Serpin or Serine Protease inhibitor which has been used for the past three years in approximately one million cardiac and cardiac pulmonary bypass surgeries in order to prevent bleeding during cardio pulmonary bypass procedures.

Trayslol is manufactured and distributed by Bayer and has been approved since 1993 to control bleeding in open heart surgery and minimize the need for blood transfusions. It is used to reduce blood loss during surgery and to reduce the need for blood transfusion in patients undergoing cardiac or cardio pulmonary bypass surgery.

Unfortunately, the use of Trayslol increases the risk of kidney failure, heart attacks and strokes. This has been confirmed by the FDA in a report dated September 29, 2006. Moreover, Bayer, the manufacturer of Trayslol did not have a strong warning on the label warning doctors of the increased risk of death or kidney disease from the use of Trayslol.

On September 26, the FDA released a public health advisory advising that an FDA approved study concluded that Trayslol use may increase the chance of death, serious kidney damage, congestive heart failure, and strokes.

It has been estimated that as many as 10,000 patients yearly who have had cardiac or cardio pulmonary surgery and have experienced kidney failure leading to dialysis have been caused by Trayslol. If you experienced kidney failure either immediately or within 48 hours after your cardiac surgery, please call Nadrich & Cohen today to discuss your case.

The Law Offices of Nadrich and Cohen are investigating victims across the country who have developed Renal failure following cardiac sugery.

If you or a loved one developed Renal failure, either immediately or within 48 hours following cardiac surgery, please immediately contact the Trayslol lawyers at the Law Offices of Nadrich and Cohen. We are investigating all occurrences of patients who have suffered from renal failure following pulmonary bypass surgery and who did not have pre-existing kidney related problems.

If you or a loved one suffered kidney disease, kidney failure, or the need for dialysis, please immediately contact the Trayslol lawyers at Nadrich and Cohen. We will represent you on a contingency basis. We have gathered a team of the best lawyers and best experts to prove that Trayslol caused the kidney damage and need for dialysis subsequent to Cardio Pulmonary surgery. Remember, patients given Trayslol are at greater risk of kidney failure from its use during surgery.

Trayslol has been associated in a medical article entitled “The Risk Associated With Aprotinin (Trayslol) Caused In Cardiac Surgery", with a doubling in the risk of kidney failure with dialysis among patients undergoing complex coronary artery surgery or primary surgery.

Statistics have indicated there is a 55% increase in the risk of heart failure and a 181% increase in the risk of stroke. The Law Offices of Nadrich and Cohen are investigating cases of renal failures with or without dialysis, stroke, and congestive heart failure.

Remember, Trayslol is administered during cardiac procedures. Most patients are unaware of its administration. You do not have to know if you were given Trayslol during your surgery.

If you develop kidney or renal failure following cardiac surgery you may have had Trayslol administered to you during surgery. Please contact the Law Offices of Nadrich and Cohen and we will investigate and determine whether or not Trayslol was used in your surgery. If so, we will obtain a recovery against the manufacturer on your behalf. We are investigating Trayslol use cases throughout the country.
