1 Injured in Hit and Run Crash on Ventura Boulevard
Studio City Accident Involves Stolen Vehicle
Studio City, CA (August 29, 2018) – One person was injured in a hit and run crash in Studio City. The accident happened on the morning of August 29 on Ventura Boulevard.
A Porsche and Lexus collided at the FedEx Office Print and Ship Center, located at 12101 Ventura Boulevard. The vehicles were street racing when the Lexus lost control and crashed through the FedEx store.
The driver of the Porsche pulled the Lexus driver out of the wrecked car and drove him away. It is unknown if he was injured. Video footage showed the suspects possibly removing bottles of alcohol from the Lexus prior to fleeing the accident scene.
There were customers inside at the time of the accident. One male customer was hit by the Lexus and taken to a hospital.
The Lexus was stolen and its owner was informed of the accident. If caught, the suspects will face felony hit and run charges.
