Head-on Accident in Phelan Leads to Fatality

Phelan, CA (May 6, 2019) – A head-on crash in Phelan has killed one person and injured another. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of May 6 at Phelan Road and Vinton Road.

A Hyundai Sonata and Mazda pickup collided head-on at the intersection. The Mazda was driving west in the eastbound lanes. The driver of the Mazda, a 23-year-old man from Phelan, died at the accident scene. The driver of the Hyundai, a 22-year-old from Pinon Hills suffered minor injuries.
