Oroville, CA (January 26, 2019) – One person was killed and another was seriously injured after a car was driven off a 200-foot cliff in Oroville. The fatal accident happened on the evening of January 26 on Ponderosa Way.

While the crash happened on January 26, it was not reported until the next morning. A surviving occupant had to crawl out of the crashed vehicle and find help. Three people were inside the vehicle. One person died at the accident scene. The driver suffered major injuries and was airlifted to a hospital. Another passenger was able to walk away from the scene and find help. Numerous agencies responded to the accident.
