Modesto, CA (April 30, 2019) – A woman was killed and a man was seriously injured in a crash in Modesto. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of April 30 on Yosemite Boulevard.

The two-vehicle crash happened in the 2400 block of Yosemite Boulevard. A Chevrolet S-10 pickup was heading west on Yosemite when it crossed over the eastbound lanes. The pickup then veered back onto Yosemite Boulevard and was crossing the lanes when it was hit by an Acura sedan heading east.

A man and a woman were trapped inside the Chevrolet and had to be removed by firefighters. The man was seriously injured but conscious. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The woman lost consciousness and later died from her injuries.
