Car Loses Control in Fatal Accident in Big Bear Lake

Big Bear Lake, CA (March 13, 2019) – One person was killed and two were injured in a crash in Big Bear Lake. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of March 13 on Highway 18.

The crash happened when the driver of the Honda Civic lost control and drifted into the path of a Chevrolet Tahoe. The Chevrolet hit the Honda’s right side.

A 22-year-old woman from La Habra was in the front seat of the Honda. She died at the accident scene. The driver of the Honda, a 31-year-old man from Elk Grove, suffered major injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The driver of the Chevrolet, an 80-year-old man from Big Bear Lake suffered minor injuries and was treated at the accident scene.
