San Diego, CA (May 6, 2019) – A man was killed and three others were injured in a crash in San Diego. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of May 6 on Interstate 805.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred on Interstate 805 near El Cajon Boulevard. A GMC box truck rolled over and collided with a Mercedes sedan and a Kia Optima.

When the driver of the Kia Optima, a 31-year-old man, got out of this vehicle, he was hit by the Mercedes, which was driven by a 28-year-old man. The driver of the Kia died at the accident scene. The driver of the box truck and the two occupants of the Mercedes, including a 29-year-old woman, were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
