Crescent City, CA (May 17, 2019) – One person was killed and three others were injured in a crash in Crescent City. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of May 17 on U.S. 101 at Mile Marker 19.11.

Four people were inside a vehicle traveling south on U.S. 101 when it hit a large tree, went about 40 feet down an embankment and overturned.

Three people were injured. One person died in the crash. She has been identified as 18-year-old Wau-Kela Dowd.
