1 Killed, 4 Injured in Crash at Highway 78
2 Vehicles Involved in Fatal Ramona Accident
Ramona, CA (December 24, 2018) – A two-vehicle crash in Ramona has killed a 5-year-old boy and injured four others. The fatal accident happened on the morning of December 24 on Highway 78.
A Ramona man was driving his Toyota Camry on westbound Highway 78, near West Haverford Road. At the same time, a 77-year-old man from Oregon was driving a Dodge Ram and traveling east on Highway 78.
The Camry suddenly swerved in front of the truck. The driver of the Camry was seriously injured. A female passenger was also injured. A 5-year-old boy in the back seat died at the accident scene. A 6-year-old boy suffered major injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital. The driver of the truck was suffered injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
