Car Collides With Pole in Solo-Vehicle Accident; Driver Arrested

Folsom, CA (April 9, 2019) – A DUI crash in Folsom has killed one person and injured four others. The fatal crash happened in the early morning hours of April 9 on East Bidwell Street.

A 21-year-old female driver was speeding on East Bidwell Street near College Parkway when she collided with a pole. The car flipped over and landed in its roof. A 28-year-old male who was riding in the front passenger seat died at the accident scene.

Three passengers in the back, all in their 20s, suffered minor to moderate injuries. They were taken to a local hospital. The driver suffered minor injuries and was arrested on DUI charges.
