Lakeside, CA (January 27, 2019) – A man was killed after colliding with a tree in Lakeside. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of January 27 at Moreno Avenue and San Vicente Avenue.

The driver of a Chevrolet Tahoe lost control and crossed the lane. It hit a tree near the intersection. The driver, a 27-year-old man, died at the accident scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the Tahoe and pinned underneath it.

The Tahoe had been reported stolen in 2018. It is believed that alcohol and drugs contributed to the crash.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the friends and loved ones of the victim.
