Victim Dies in Fiery Accident in Westlake Village

Westlake Village, CA (April 11, 2019) – One person and a pet were killed in a solo-vehicle crash in Westlake Village. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of April 11 on the 101 Freeway.

A person died after getting trapped inside a burning vehicle on the northbound 101 Freeway at the Lindero Canyon Road offramp. Firefighters extinguished the fire, then freed the victim from the vehicle.

The victim died at the accident scene. Firefighters also found some sort of pet that had died at the scene.
