Hit and Run Accident in Durham Injures Children
Durham, CA (July 31, 2018) – Two children were injured by a hit and run driver in Durham. The accident happened on the evening of July 31 on Midway.
Two children, ages 7 and 11, were walking along Midway near Campbell Street when they were hit by an SUV. The driver of the SUV fled the accident scene.
Other motorists assisted the injured children. The 7-year-old girl suffered a broken leg, while her brother suffered minor injuries. The two were taken to a local hospital.
Police are looking for the hit-and-run driver. The vehicle involved is large dark-colored SUV, possibly a Chevy Tahoe.
