2 Dead, 2 Injured in Orange County Crash

Two male suspects died and two other people were injured in Anaheim after their car crashed head-on into another car in a pursuit with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies responded to a call about suspicious activity at 12:40 p.m. on Nov. 23 at the 1900 block of Ridgeview Road, according to spokesperson Jaimee Blashaw.

Authorities went to make contact with three suspects in a Ford Focus who were possibly involved in a burglary, but they fled the scene, Blashaw told City News Service.

The Ford Focus headed north on Imperial Highway. The vehicle crossed into the southbound lane and collided with a Kia SUV at East Big Sky Lane, according to Sgt. Daron Wyatt.

The driver of the suspect vehicle died at the scene. A male passenger was transported to a hospital along with a female who had been sitting in the front.

A motorist in the SUV was transported to a hospital for minor injuries. Imperial Highway was closed in both directions at Nohl Ranch Road while police investigate.
