FedEx Truck Overturns in Arvin Accident; Police Looking for 3 Suspects

Arvin, CA (February 18, 2019) – A hit and run crash in Arvin has injured two people. The accident occurred on the morning of February 18 on Comanche Drive.

A FedEx truck was heading south on Comanche Drive, near Varsity Avenue, when a car on the side of the road suddenly made a U-turn in front of the truck. The FedEx driver could not avoid hitting the car. The FedEx truck driver lost control, with the truck overturning in a nearby orchard. The driver and a passenger in the FedEx truck suffered injuries and were taken to a local hospital.

When police arrived at the accident scene, two men and a woman got out of the car and fled the accident scene. Police are still searching for them. They are described as Hispanic and in their 20s.
