Fresno Accidents Lead to Major Injuries
Fresno, CA (September 26, 2018) – Two major car crashes in Fresno have caused serious injuries. The accidents occurred on Highway 99 on the evening of September 26.
The first crash happened on Highway 99, near the Shaw Avenue off-ramp. A motorcycle was involved, with the rider found down in the road. It is unknown if those involved suffered any injuries. The other vehicle involved fled the accident scene, and CHP is treating the crash as a hit and run.
The crash caused traffic and slowdowns, and this led to a subsequent accident, with two other vehicles colliding into each other. A sedan rear-ended a Dodge Ram. Two people were injured, including an occupant of the sedan, who suffered major injuries. Both were taken to a local hospital.
