2-Year-Old Jerome Jacinto Killed in DUI Crash on Highway 80
Boy Dies in Vallejo Accident Caused by Father
Vallejo, CA (September 16, 2018) – A 2-year-old boy died in a DUI crash in Vallejo. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of September 16 on Highway 80.
The solo vehicle crash happened on westbound Highway 80 near state Highway 37. Richmond resident Jerome Jacinto, 33, was driving a Pontiac Firebird when the car left the road and overturned. Jacinto’s son, also named Jerome Jacinto, was not properly restrained in the back seat. He was ejected from the vehicle and died at the accident scene.
The man was arrested on multiple criminal charges, including suspicion of DUI, gross vehicular manslaughter, child cruelty resulting in death and driving without a license.
