Distracted Driving Causes Multi-Vehicle Accident in Chino Hills
Chino Hills, CA (April 26, 2018) –An accident occurred in Chino Hills when a motorist went to check his cell phone. The distracted driving caused a three-car crash on the 71 Freeway at the Butterfield Ranch Road exit on the morning of April 26.
A Dodge Challenger driven by Ethan Forward from Irvine was behind a Chevy Cruiser when the accident occurred. Forward looked up from his phone and felt the impact of the crash on the 71 Freeway.
The vehicles swerved and went up an embankment. Both hit a large tree. Both drivers, Forward and Ms. Becerra, suffered pain and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Another car was involved in the Chino Hills crash, but no occupants suffered injuries.
