1 Firefighter Killed, 1 Injured in Crash Near Tatham Fire


Fire Engine Rolls Over in Fatal Willows Accident

Willows, CA (August 31, 2020) – One firefighter was killed and another was injured in a rollover crash in Willows. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of August 31 on Highway 162.

A fire engine rolled over near the Mendocino National Forest. Aboard the engine were three firefighters. One firefighter suffered burns to their arm and hand and is seeking medical attention. Another died, while the third was not injured.
