Mecca, CA (December 31, 2019) – A pedestrian was injured in a crash in Mecca. The accident occurred on the morning of December 31 at Hayes Street and Avenue 71.

A pedestrian was hit by a car at the intersection. The victim was found under a vehicle. The person suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital.

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months.
