Car, Big Rig Collide in Oceanside Accident

Oceanside, CA (August 8, 2019) – One person was seriously injured in a crash in Oceanside. The accident occurred on the morning of August 8 on the 5 Freeway.

A car and a big rig collided on the northbound 5 Freeway, near Harbor Drive. The driver of the car was trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to free the driver. The victim was airlifted to a local hospital. The crash is under investigation.
