1 Killed, 1 Injured in Crash at Bloss Avenue and Palm Street


Police Looking for Randy Alexander Avila After Fleeing Fatal Delhi Accident

Delhi, CA (October 8, 2020) – One person was killed and another was injured in a hit and run crash in Delhi. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of October 8 at Bloss Avenue and Palm Street.

A Nissan Sentra, driven by Randy Avila, 40, of Delhi, failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection. It was hit by a Chevrolet Sonic, driven by Rosa Olivera, 66, of Hilmar. A woman was trapped inside the Nissan. She was taken to a local hospital, where she later died. Olivera suffered moderate injuries and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment. Police are looking for Avila, who fled the accident scene.
