Pickup Truck Rear-Ends Quad in Fatal Bakersfield Accident

Bakersfield, CA (July 13, 2020) – One person was killed and another was injured in a crash in Bakersfield. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of July 13 at Fairfax Road and Alfred Harrell Highway.

A pickup truck rear-ended a quad bike at the intersection. The quad had no reflectors or lights on. A passenger on the bike died at the accident scene. The rider suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The driver of the pickup remained at the crash site.
