Tow Truck Overturns in Fatal Woodland Accident

Woodland, CA (November 12, 2019) – A man was killed and a woman was injured in a crash in Woodland. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of November 12 at Highway 16 and County Road 94B.

A vehicle driven by a woman from Davis was trying to cross the intersection when a tow truck approached. The tow truck driver could not slow down in time and the two vehicles collided.

The tow truck overturned and went into a ditch. It landed on its roof. The tow truck driver, identified only as a man from Woodland, was killed in the crash. The other driver suffered minor injuries.
