Vehicle Slams Into Bridge in Fatal Perris Accident

Perris, CA (December 25, 2019) – A man was killed and another person was injured in a solo-vehicle crash in Perris. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of December 25 on the 215 Freeway.

A vehicle slammed into a bridge on the northbound 215 Freeway, at Harley Knox Boulevard. It then overturned and caught fire.

One person was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be rescued by firefighters. Another person was ejected from the vehicle. One person was seriously injured and taken to a local hospital. Another died from their injuries. He was only identified as a 19-year-old man. Beer cans were seen near the accident scene.

The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
