1 Killed, 1 Injured in Crash on Highway 4 Near Sand Creek Road

Car Hits Sign, Guardrail in Fatal Brentwood Accident

Brentwood, CA (August 7, 2020) – One person was killed and another was injured in a solo-vehicle crash in Brentwood. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of August 7 on Highway 4. 

A Dodge Challenger was traveling on eastbound Highway 4, near Sand Creek Road, when it hit a guardrail and a freeway sign. Two occupants of the Dodge were airlifted to a local hospital. The passenger, a 26-year-old man from Antioch, later died. The condition of the 27-year-old driver is unknown.
