1 Killed, 1 Injured in Crash on Interstate 680 Near Highway 4


Driver Hits Concrete Walls in Fatal Martinez Accident

Martinez, CA (November 18, 2020) – A woman was killed in a solo-vehicle crash in Martinez. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of November 18 on Interstate 680.

A Nissan 350z lost control in the northbound lanes of Interstate 680, near Highway 4. The Nissan hit a concrete center divider, went across all lanes of traffic and hit a concrete sound wall. 

A passenger in the vehicle, a 20-year-old woman from Milpitas, died at the accident scene. The driver, a 22-year-old man from Milpitas, suffered major injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
