SUV Crashes Into Embankment in Fatal San Leandro Accident

San Leandro, CA (May 6, 2020) – A man was killed and a woman was injured in a solo-vehicle crash in San Leandro. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of May 6 on Interstate 880.

An SUV was traveling in the northbound lanes of Interstate 880, near Marina Boulevard, when it veered off the road. It crashed into an embankment, ejecting both occupants.

A man died at the accident scene. A woman was hospitalized in critical condition.
