1 Killed, 1 Injured in Crash on North Weber Avenue


Driver Flees Scene of Fresno Accident

Fresno, CA (September 12, 2020) – One person was killed and another was injured in a pedestrian crash in Fresno. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of September 12 on North Weber Avenue.

A man was pushing his 4-year-old granddaughter in a stroller across North Weber Avenue when he was hit by a car. The impact knocked both the grandfather and child to the ground. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. The girl suffered bumps and bruises and is expected to be OK.

The driver fled the accident scene. North Weber Avenue was shut down for five hours.
