Victorville, CA (December 3, 2019) – One person was killed and another was injured in a head-on crash in Victorville. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of December 3 on D Street. 

A Chevrolet Colorado and a Dodge Grand Caravan collided head-on in the 16300 block of D Street. One person died at the accident scene. Emergency crews performed CPR on another victim. The cause of the crash is unknown. D Street was closed for several as police investigated.

E-Cigarette Use Linked To ‘Cobalt Lung’

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months. The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
