1 Killed, 1 Injured in Hit and Run Crash on West Hammer Lane


Dontae Wilburn Arrested for Homicide in Fatal Stockton Accident

Stockton, CA (May 2, 2020) – One person was killed and another was injured in a hit and run crash in Stockton. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of May 2 on West Hammer Lane.

A man and a woman in their 40s were hit by a car in a parking lot in the 2300 block of West Hammer Lane. The driver fled the accident scene. Both were taken to a local hospital. The man later died, but the woman is expected to survive.

Police later found the driver, Dontae Wilburn, 34, and arrested him. He was taken into custody and booked into San Joaquin County Jail for homicide charges.
