Man Loses Control of Motorcycle in Fatal El Dorado Hills Accident

El Dorado Hills, CA (June 1, 2019) – A man was killed after losing control of his motorcycle in El Dorado Hills. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of June 1 on Bass Lake Road.

The motorcyclist, a 25-year-old man from Sacramento, was riding with a 26-year-old female passenger when he was speeding around a curve on northbound Bass Lake Road, near Magnolia Hills Drive.

He attempted to slow down but lost control of the motorcycle. The motorcycle fell on its side and slid into the southbound lane. The motorcycle was then hit by a southbound Honda Accord.

The impact propelled the motorcyclist and the passenger, a Sacramento woman, to the shoulder. The man died at the accident scene. The passenger suffered major injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital.
