Speeding Tesla Runs Red Light in Fatal San Francisco Accident

San Francisco, CA (July 21, 2019) – A pedestrian crash caused by a speeding vehicle in San Francisco has killed one person and injured another. The fatal accident occurred don the afternoon of July 21 at Taylor and O’Farrell streets.

A woman driving a Tesla sped through the intersection and ran a red light. The Tesla was broadsided by a Mini Cooper and hit two pedestrians walking in the crosswalk. 

The victims were a couple in their 50s visiting from Clovis. Both were taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The husband later died. 

The drivers of the two vehicles were not injured. They remained at the accident scene.
