West Covina, CA (September 26, 2019) – One person was killed and another was injured in a multi-vehicle crash in West Covina. The fatal accident occurred on the morning on September 26 on the 10 Freeway.

The accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of the 10 Freeway near Citrus Street. A semi truck rear-ended and pushed forward another truck, which crashed into a third semi truck. That truck then hit a Honda Civic in front of it.

The driver of the first semi truck suffered major injuries and the driver of the second truck died at the accident scene. The other two drivers were not injured. 

The crash caused a diesel spill. The lanes were closed for several hours.
