2 Vehicles Involved in Fatal Ceres Accident

Ceres, CA (November 10, 2019) – One person was killed and two others were injured in a crash in Ceres. The accident occurred on the morning of November 10 at Crows Landing and Hackett roads.

A Chevy pickup truck and a Toyota Corolla collided at the intersection for unknown reasons. Three people were injured in the crash and taken to a local hospital. The driver of the Toyota later died. The other two suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

E-Cigarette Use Linked To ‘Cobalt Lung’

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months. The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
