2 Vehicles Involved in Fatal Head-on Accident in Palmdale

Fatal Accident

Palmdale, CA (January 6, 2020) – One person was killed and two others were injured in a crash in Palmdale. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of January 6 at North 50th Street at East Avenue N.

Two vehicles collided head-on at the intersection for unknown reasons. One person was killed in the crash. Two others were hospitalized with critical injuries.

E-Cigarette Use Linked To ‘Cobalt Lung’

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months. The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
