Del Mar, CA (October 28, 2019) – A man was killed and two others were injured in a crash in Del Mar. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of October 28 on Camino Del Mar.

The crash happened in the 200 block of Camino Del Mar. A 76-year-old man was driving a Honda CRV northbound on Camino Del Mar when he crossed into the southbound lanes. His Honda sideswiped a Toyota Rav4 driven by a 39-year-old woman. He then continued southbound and struck a Toyota Previa head-on. A man and woman were inside.

The driver of the CRV died at the accident scene. The man and woman in the Previa suffered major injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The woman in the Rav4 was not injured.
