Ainise Taimani Arrested for DUI in Fatal Isleton Accident

Isleton, CA (May 26, 2019) – A woman was arrested for DUI after a crash in Isleton killed one person and injured two others. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of May 26 on Highway 12.

A Chevrolet was heading west on Highway 12. As the car approached the Mokelumne River Bridge, the driver, 19-year-old Ainise Taimani from Antioch, drifted off the road and hit a lamp post.

Two passengers were ejected from the vehicle. They were not wearing seat belts. One person was killed and another suffered major injuries. Taimani suffered minor injuries and was arrested for DUI.
