Car Crashes Into Tree in Fatal Placer County Accident

Placer County, CA (August 15, 2019) – A man was killed and two others were injured in a crash in Placer County. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of August 15 on Interstate 80. 

A 22-year-old man was heading west on Interstate 80 when he veered off the road and crashed into a tree. He died in the crash. Two others were injured.

E-Cigarette Use Linked To ‘Cobalt Lung’

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months. The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
