1 Killed, 2 Injured in Crash on State Route 99 Near Hamilton Nord Cana Highway


2 Vehicles Collide Head-on in Fatal Chico Accident

Chico, CA (March 14, 2020) – One person was killed and two others were injured in a head-on crash in Chico. The fatal accident occurred at around noon on March 14 on State Route 99. 

A Toyota 4Runner was heading south on State Route 99 near the Hamilton Nord Cana Highway when it veered into the northbound lane, almost hitting a semi truck. The driver of the Toyota went back into the southbound lane and ended up on the shoulder. The driver then overcorrected, lost control and was back in the northbound lane. It then hit a Toyota Camry.

The 4Runner overturned and landed on its side. The Camry overturned and landed on its roof. The driver of the Camry died at the accident scene. The driver and passenger in the 4Runner were hospitalized with major injuries. The roads were shut down for several hours.

New York Child Victims Act Extended By One Year

you can file an anonymous sex trafficking lawsuit for compensation New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a bill into law on Monday which will extend the Child Victims Act by a year. Child sex abuse survivors, including survivors of abuse at the hands of Boy Scouts of America or Catholic clergy, will now have until August 14, 2021 to file claims in New York. The signing allows survivors of all ages to file claims against their alleged abusers which would have previously been barred by time.
