Oakdale, CA (November 17, 2019) – A man was killed and two others were injured in a head-on crash in Oakdale. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of November 17 on Highway 108. 

The crash happened on Highway 108, near Lancaster Road. A Toyota pickup truck driven by a 57-year-old man from Modesto with a 35-year-old female passenger, was heading west. A Nissan Rogue SUV was heading east. It was driven by Hector Ramos Jose, 83, of Oakdale. He crossed the solid center lines on a curve and hit the Toyota head-on.

The driver of the pickup truck died in the crash. His passenger suffered head trauma and was airlifted to a local hospital. Jose suffered chest pain and other major injuries. He was taken to the same hospital.
