1 Killed, 3 Injured in Crash at Interstate 5 and Florin Road

11 Vehicles Involved in Fatal Sacramento Accident 

Sacramento, CA (September 8, 2020) – One person was killed and three others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Sacramento. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of September 8 at Interstate 5 and Florin Road.

The incident occurred on southbound Interstate 5 at Florin Road and involved a series of crashes. One crash involved a big rig hauling plywood, which failed to slow down as it approached the vehicle. It crashed into 10 vehicles, including a Chrysler 300. The driver of the Chrysler, an unidentified man, died at the accident scene. Three others were injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
