Pickup Truck Causes Fatal Chain-Reaction Accident in Fullerton

Fullerton, CA (January 27, 2021) – One person was killed and three others were injured in a crash in Fullerton. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of January 27 on Magnolia Avenue. 

A man driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck set off a chain-reaction crash after he collided with a smaller car on Magnolia Avenue. He was seen driving erratically before the crash. The pickup truck then went into opposing traffic and hit a Toyota Corolla, which overturned and collided with a Ford Edge. The Toyota spun around and then hit a Nissan Altima.

The Toyota was driven by the 21-year-old woman, with an 18-year-old passenger. Both women were stuck and had to be rescued by firefighters. Both were taken to a local hospital, where the driver later died. The passenger is in critical condition.

The 50-year-old man driving the Ford Edge was hospitalized with serious injuries. He is currently in critical condition. The driver of the Silverado was also hospitalized with major injuries,
