1 Killed, 4 Injured in Crash at 20th Street East and Avenue J-8

Driver Arrested for DUI, Vehicle Manslaughter in Fatal Lancaster Accident

Lancaster, CA (November 26, 2020) – One person was killed and four others were injured in a DUI crash in Lancaster. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of November 26 at 20th Street East and Avenue J-8.

A vehicle ran a red light and broadsided a vehicle at the intersection. A Chrysler PT Cruiser ended up on its roof due to the impact. The driver of the broadsided car, an unidentified woman, died at the accident scene. Three passengers inside the vehicle were taken to a local hospital to be treated for head injuries. 

The other driver suffered minor injuries. They were arrested for DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.
