1 Killed, 5 Injured in Semi Truck Crash on State Route 4 Near Tracy Boulevard
Mauricio Solorio Garcia Arrested for DUI in Fatal Stockton Accident
Stockton, CA (February 14, 2020) – A man was killed and five others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Stockton. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of February 14 on State Route 4.
A semi truck crossed the double yellow line on State Route 4, near Tracy Boulevard. It headed into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Dodge SUV and a Chrysler Town & Country minivan.
The SUV went off the road and went down an embankment into a field. The driver of the SUV, a 35-year-old man, died at the accident scene. His passenger, an 11-year-old boy, was airlifted to a local hospital with major injuries.
A man and three children – ages 9, 4 and 11 months – were all in the minivan. They were hospitalized with moderate injuries. The driver of the semi truck, 54-year-old Mauricio Solorio Garcia, was taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries. He was released and arrested for DUI.
