Hanford, CA (August 6, 2019) – One person was killed and another was injured in a car crash in Hanford. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of August 6 at Jackson and 10th avenues.

A man was driving a van westbound on Jackson Avenue when he crashed into a Chevrolet pickup truck at the intersection. The van went off the road and hit a pole. 

The driver of the van was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. The driver of the Chevrolet, Angel Sanchez-Vega, 47, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
